    just curious.
i usually subscribe to any thread that i post in. that way, if anyone has a question related to what i've typed, i can reply. if, after several posts, no one directs anything (positive or negative [IMG] ) towards me, i'll cancel my subscription.
obviously, if for whatever reason, i find a thread appealing i'll subscribe even if i don't post.
if i find that the thread is farting, i'll definitely cancel.
    how 'bout you folks?

I'm currently running two tournaments so I get plenty of replies from those. I was also subscribed to 4 or 5 other tournament threads that I'm participating in. Unfortunately, I was getting upwards of a hundred emails every night! So I cancelled my subscription to those other tourneys and just check on them when I'm in Polls.

Like Ted, I also subscribe to threads that I participate in and cancel the subscription after a few days if there are no replys directly relating to my post.

To be honest, I haven't tried the subscription thing yet, but maybe I should look into it...

    hey jack -

i usually subscribe for at least a few sub-sequent posts. just to ensure that if anyone has a question or comment directed towards my post that i can reply.

but, if i find the thread losing my interest, then i'll cancel out...

A lot of times I am curious as to what others will think of what I posted because sometimes I may have a strong opinion. As well, I like to follow up on stuff so I will almost always visit a thread again to check on it.

No I usually don't. When I log on I just make my rounds.

Same here. And I like the feature of having "posted to" logos on the threads when you login. Keeps me from having to subscribe to them!

Hmmm...I never used the subscribe option. I just keep track of the threads manually. [IMG]
