Do the Denon AVR-2802 and AVR-3802 models decode Dolby Digital EX? (1 Viewer)

I've been browsing through the features on Crutchfield and Crazy Eddie and neither has DD EX in the specs.

Any reason DD EX is not included?

It does decode DD EX - it's just not "allowed" to list it anywhere.

At that time, they did not have permission to include the "DD EX" as a feature/spec.

Do a search for- Denon 3802 7.1

And I think you'll find out more info than I can provide right now.

I have a 3802 and love it - watched Gladiator the other night for the first time with a 7.1 surround setup and it was awesome!
