Do the Canadian Models of the Yamaha 1400/2400 actually have DPLIIx? (1 Viewer)

Do they actually have DPLIIX or is it some misprint in the info? If they actually do have it, has anybody found out why they would sell that model only in canada?

Yes they do have PL2x in Canada. I sent an e-mail to the Yamaha Canada customer service asking about this. He replied back saying he thought the US models had PL2x. So hopefully we will see PL2x soon on these models in the US. Someone else was told the non PL2x models could be upgraded by the Canadian Yamaha group but when he asked Yamaha USA was told at this time there are no upgrades available. Why they released these two different models in the first place just makes no sense.

I was also told they would not be making a 3400 to replace the 3300. :frowning:
