I can't seem to find a thread on this, yet I vaguely remember it being mentioned that they do not. My question is that since I plan to skip RPTV and go for an LCD projector, will I have any problems playing video games for any length of time? Do they suffer the same burn-in problems and issues of CRT-based sets?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Greetings
Actually they do. It just takes a lot longer. This was something mentioned by Joel Silver at a recent ISF seminar.

I think it was Jeff McNeal fromwww.thebigpicturedvd.com that said the difference in burn-in on an LCD is, it can be reversed.

Yeah, its a little pricey to do all the time, but have you ever played a good flight sim, or FPS, or even games like Baldur's gate on an XGA or higher resolution system with surround sound? Even just using the front channels, it's pretty awesome. We're talking computer games, not consoles, since most of the consoles are just NTSC output.
    Regards,
    Jon

    Neil,
I don't 'plan' to spend that much time playing, that is, until I can figure a way to squeeze 26 hours into a 24 hour day. But, I was hoping for the possibility...
