Do I need to replace my Panamax MR5100 surge protector because it's old? (1 Viewer)

I have a pair of Panamax MR5100 Line Conditioners in my home theater. One is original to the theater, so eight years old. The second I bought new in September 2022. With the belated understanding that conventional surge protectors lose effectiveness over time, I'm wondering if the older Panamax needs to be replaced simply due to its age?

I've done a quick bit of searching and haven't found an easy answer. Maybe an expert here knows? Thanks.

Thanks! I was looking over their FAQs, but missed that detail.

Since these go for about $500, I wasn't looking forward to swapping them out due to simple age if not necessary.
