Do I need to glue the port flares to the ring/tube? What type of glue? (1 Viewer)

I just don't want my port falling appart in my sub so I assume you have to glue the rings and flares on but what type of glue would work good while keeping the port smooth inside? Just thought I'd ask because I haven't seen this topic be discussed before.

I used epoxy on one end, and plain electrical tape on the other end. Click on my Sunosub III link and look at photos 140-142.
