First off, this is in no way meant to be a religious or political question or topic, so don't even go there. My wife and I were at the mall this past weekend and we stopped in a jewelry store to inquire about getting our wedding bands engraved. While we were there, we observed two seperate homosexual couples (both malemale) come in to the store and inquire about wedding bands... which led to my wife and I wondering if this is common practice. Obviously not all homosexual peopls involved in relationships would engage in this. However, what about those people who are in what they would consider to be an equivalent of marriage? Namely, in those states that do not recognize homosexual unions as being legal (all states save Vermont and Hawaii, I believe). We were just curious... please dont turn this into a taboo topic.
