I am also curious about how regular TV is watched through a projector without a tuner. Obviuosly an external tuner is required, but how much do these costs and what are some quality tuners to research? HDTV is a requirement. I really like the Infocus 7210 but I'm still a few months away from purchasing one.

I use a DirecTV HR10-250 (aka high def DirecTivo) connected to a Panasonic 900U projector. If I wanted to watch analog OTA or cable, I could connect a VCR or DVD recorder and use their tuner. If I wanted digital cable, I would have to rent one of their boxes. Costs? Between $5/month and $1,000 purchase price. It all depends on what is available from your content provider(s).
