DNR Question

    Newbie question I have a button on my DVD remote named DNR it gives me the option to turn it off or on, what does this button do? And is it better to have it on or off? Thanks for your expert advise

    You should probably look in your owners manual to be sure, but it probably stands for Digital Noise Reduction. In my opinion, digital noise reduction usually increases artificats and doesn't really benefit sources like DVD that much. Try it both on and off and see which you prefer.
