    Hey all [IMG]!

I was curious about my Dayton DLS 10" subwoofer. Around the time they were popular on this board (before they hit a defect and were discontinued by partsexpress.com) people were talking about modding it to sound even better.

I was wondering what kind of low-cost mods can you do to the subwoofer to make it sound better? Also, I remember some people talking about changing/adding higher quality insulation foam; what specific foam did you add and how well did it improve sound?

    Thanks in advance!

    Nathan,

Unless I missed something, I don't recall anyone really doing much to modify the DLS subs. I really don't see any reason to do any modifications to it unless you just want to try it. It sounds just fine to me the way it is.
