I am one of those who had a defective DLS amp. I got my replacement and I still have the old one. My question is this, can I take the old amp and pair it with a Dayton 10" Titanic MKII to make a new sub. How would it compare with the original driver that comes with the DLS 10?

Jim,

The Titanic 10" is a much nicer driver than what is in the DLS sub. So it'll have much better power handling and should be "cleaner". Before you go that route, see if someone with PE tech support can tell you if that amp has any built-in boost. I imagine it probably does, but it would be nice to know for sure.
