Dlp question?

    This is my first post, so here it goes.I just purchased a
    Samsung Dlp hln-507w tv and I am using component cables from my dvd and coaxial for cable.How could I improve my picture quality.Keep in mind I dont have a progressive dvd and I am not an expert.

    Well, it looks like that TV turns everything into 720P, so you should be OK without getting a progressive-scan DVD player.

    Other than that, I would turn off (if you can) samsung's DNIe thing, and then get Avia/VE and calibrate. Calibrate calibrate calibrate! ALWAYS a significant improvement in PQ.
