    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has attempted cloning any of JM-labs , utopia line.

I am interested in building the utopia or even the huge utopia Grande.

With such a high $$$$$ value on these speakers im sure many of us DIY'ers will stay away from such a project but imagine building a $70,000 speaker with a little more than $3,000+ invested.

-=-If any one has any outragous designs, Please feel free to share your thoughts-=-

Well I think the guys to talk to would be the ones at Klone Audio:
    http://www.klone-audio.com/
You'll be most interested in their copy of the Wilson X1-Slamm:

It one them first place at one of the major DIY gatherings. I seem to remember the builder saying it ran him just under $4000 and is 90% of the actual X1-Slamms he has heard.

Actually, there is a guy over at the madisoud board who has built a grand utopia clone. He goes by Speakernut. Find one of his posts and follow his link to his site.
