DIY Edge Guide for Dewalt 621 (1 Viewer)

I was looking into buying an edge guide for my dewalt 621 router, but @ 47 bux I figured it would be worth the time to ask here if anyone had made one. I thought I had read somewhere about how to make one, but I couldn't find the particular post in the search.

So, anyone, cheap easy ways to make an edge guide? I am tired of clamping a 2x4 to the work surface to act as an edge guide.
