Last summer when I was considering making my own cables I cam across a web page (linked from here) that gave all the model #'s of the crimping tools, the best connectors, and the most common cables #'s for audio and visual. It also had a price list and links to web sites that sold everything. Anyone know where I can find that info? I searched on here and couldnt find anything.

Thanks, tom

Is it worth making both audio and video cables? Or is the "all purpose" cable good enough?

Also....how do you put the braiding on the cables?

the L-5CFB makes good audio and video cables, read note 8 on the web page for the difference between the two cable types.
the braiding is a sleeve that you slide the unfinished cable into and secure it with the heat shrink after you complete the connectors.
