For those of you who have made your own cables out of Canare or Belden cables.
How flexible are the cables. I have some of Radio Shacks 7ohm coaxial cable and it is quite stiff.

I'm not sure if you care, but I made the CAT-5 speaker cables, and being that it's 9 AWG, it's thick, but relatively bend-able.

    Jim,
I have some DIY cables made from Canare connectors and Belden 1505A cable. I'd say they're just as stiff as any other RG59 cable with solid copper coductors. They also have a bit of a tendancy to coil in longer lengths. Mine are being used strictly for component video and as a digital interconnect. For regular analog audio cables I'm using the Rat Shack Gold Series stuff.

I'm using the Canare LV-77s cable and being stranded, it seems fairly flexible to me. It is 2x the price of the L-5CFB which is solid core, so that would be stiffer. It makes a very nice cable IMHO.

I'll second the Canare LV-77 cable with the Canare connectors.

I'll third the LV-77S. Very flexible with a bend radius of easily less than 6".
