I am thinking of starting a couple DIY projects to keep me busy while i save $$$ for my future upgrades. I noticed most people seem to be building subs but not many mains, are mains that much harder to build? I want to try mains and build the Cabs myself too. My first project though is probably just to build a A/V rack/shelves for my equip. Does anyone know of some links with plans or layouts (or pics) of DIY racks? I just want to get some ideas. As far as my future speaker project, should i just buy some cabs, or do some smaller speakers (surrounds) being as it is my first DIY project...any thoughts?

Steve, take the link at the bottom of my post to my outdated theater pics. The rack is one that I designed and had a friend help make. It works very well is very study.
