I have a 31' GE and there is a good amount of info missing on both sides. I know this is common but are there are any tips to get rid of this? Anything I can do to make it better? I've heard things about geometry and a service menu. Help me out.

You definitely need to get into your service menu and adjust the overscan. You want SOME overscan, but it sounds as if you have too much. 5% is usually about right.

Maybe someone can help, but they'll need more info. What is the model # of your set? You may want to find a GE site and try to get a service manual.

    Good luck!
