UltimateDisney.com says today that these three titles are no longer available for pre-order at Amazon, which has removed all details for the titles. Any info available? Let's hope Disney's making some improvements. Still waiting for "Ed Wood" ....

Amazon.ca has bumped them to Jan 2005, but lowered the price.

Thanks for the info! Unfortunately, that's a "Jan. 1" date Amazon has given them -- one often used when there's no specific date. Numerous releases on hold for years have been given "Jan. 1 [the next calendar year]" release dates.

Shaggy D.A. was supposed to have an anamorphic WS transfer and a few decent extras. Maybe they decided to lose those and go for family-friendly FS instead. You never know...

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.................

If they can't deliver 'em, they shouldn't announce them.

The same thing happened with Matilda last year. It was pulled, and given a Jan 1 release date on Amazon. This usually means that it has been canceled. If they do decide to release it later on, it will be given a new skew.

Just an educated guess fellas but perhaps Disney is holding off on the "shaggy" movies until they can tie it into the Shaggy Dog remake with Tim Allen which is due this Christmas or early next year.
