I've known about this for a while -- oddly enough, ultimatedisney.com had this info months ago, as well. Not sure why it has come up again.

Anyway, The Journey of Natty Gann is a wonderful little film, and when it was announced for DVD release, I was ecstatic, only to be crushed when I read the back and found out that this movie - shot in scope - was a pan-and-scan release. Yet another example of modern Disney's low opinion of their customers.

At least Those Calloways is coming to DVD in its OAR. Brian Keith's best work is in that forgotten little gem.
