When I saw this at the movies and you see the city for the first time, I remember thinking what beautiful, vibrant, loud and

multi-different colored shades of blues they used for the water and sky. I thought, wow, were those colors going to look awesome on DVD...what happened?

I have a 3 year old 55" Mit 4x3 and it replicates colors very well. The first time I saw the commerical, I thought that those weren't the colors from the movie!

Has anyone else encountered this, or could it just be my TV?

Having seen the movie in the theater twice and now owning the Collector's Edition DVD set, I think it may be your projection TV.

The colors from what I saw at a THX-certified screen (Century 20 Great Mall complex in Milpitas, CA USA) and on the DVD are pretty much the same, as far as I can remember.
