Was that Danny DeVito as a circus manager again, just like every Burton movie ?
That said, I actually liked the live action Jungle Book (even it it was mostly CGI), and also Beauty and the Beast, so maybe this can show Burton being good again, who knows?
It's been a while since he really dazzled us, hasn't it?
Well, this could look worse than it does. But I can't say any of this footage makes me want to see the new film either.
And Water For Elephants. And Perigrine.I kept getting Big Fish vibes as I watched the trailer.
I disagree. I think it looks great and will be a huge hit. Get ready for Dumbomania.
Don't get me wrong, I think she's fab. I'm just thinking her turn in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For might have somehow injured her chances of being in a Disney family rated movie.
A role is a role, and actors take all kinds of them. I don't see why Disney should be concerned about past roles in other films that they weren't involved in. Why would that even enter the thought process in casting this film? If the actor in question were a porn star, then maybe, but Eva Green is certainly not that, but is a highly-respected member of the acting community. There's no reason why Disney shouldn't be proud to have her appeared in one of their films.
Plus, stars who work with Disney have appeared in other non-family films before, sometimes in close proximity to their Disney appearances. Disney released Oz the Great and Powerful with James Franco the same month as he appeared in Spring Breakers, which also starred Vanessa Hudgens, who did High School Musical for Disney. And that's just off the top of my head. Why should it be an issue?
