Agreed, although Disney has come a long way since their expensive bare bones DVD's. There's always room for improvement.

Shrek is not as good a DVD as Snow White. No need to waste space on a non-OAR presentation especially of a movie that is 1.78:1. The extras for Shrek are nice though.

I disagree. Shrek is a major disappointment. Not nearly as exhaustive/comprehensive as the major Disney releases so far (i.e. Tarzan, Pixar films, Snow White, etc.)......
Thanks

Yes, please Disney, do NOT waste an extra disc for a chopped up "fullscreen" transfer, like Shrek did.

I am far more impressed with Disney's SEs for Tarzan, Snow White, Dinosaur, even The Emperors New Groove. Disney's SEs don't waste time and disc space on a full screen version. When you eliminate the overall useless disc 1, Disc 2 is not nearly as feature packed as any SE Disney has done lately.
Shrek is by far my most dissapointing Dreamworks DVD.
I hope Disney does NOT emulate it.
