Please find attached a press release for SNOW DOGS, coming to DVD &

VHS on May 14 from Walt Disney Home Video. Apparently there was some

incorrect info being circulated previously about the release date, so

we wanted to send out the press release even if you may already have

    seen it.

In Disney's SNOW DOGS, a sun-loving Miami dentist named Ted (Cuba

Gooding Jr.) finds out he's been named in a will, and travels to snowy

Alaska to claim his inheritance, a rascally dog sled team. The dogs,

however - - Diesel, Scooper, Nana, Yodel, Sniff, Mack, Duchess and

Demon - - have their way with the city slicker, and to make matters

worse, poor Ted comes across the scheming mountain man Thunder Jack

(James Coburn, Academy Award-winner, Best Supporting Actor 1998

"Affliction"). Soon Ted's involved in a dog sled competition and has

to learn how to mush as best he can, or the dogs go to Thunder Jack.

Ted learns to never give up, even when his

luck is "going to the dogs."

Do we have clear information on aspect ratio?

Someone on DVD Talk said this was going to be pan and scan only, but hopefully that's not true. (I've missed getting to see stuff like this since I don't work at a theater anymore.)

Yes, but that was based upon what Amazon said. I don't think that Disney would do a new title like this as a P & S only release, and I certainly don't rely upon Amazon's word...but I'm just awaiting confirmation that there will either be dual versions or both formats on the same disc.
