Disney clamps down on theatrical screenings of Fox titles

    Not likely. It has been years since the last VCR rolled off its manufacturing line. Longer than that since any shop carried large numbers of new, prerecorded VHS tapes. Many of those were Pan and Scan. :eek:

    Then again, my copy of the Attack of the Killer Tomatoes VHS tape came with a special bonus: A packet of "Killer Tomato" (L. esculantum dangerous) seeds. Complete with an exhortation to the effect: "Plant them. Pick them. Enjoy them – before they enjoy you!"

    Flashback Cinema's NOV/DEC schedule has been updated through Christmas Eve and there are Fox movies on the schedule. Die Hard week of Nov. 10th & Home Alone week of Dec. 1.

    Those deals would have already been in place before Disney announced its policy. Cineplex has screenings of Fox titles until December, but has stated that they'll no longer be available after that.
