Well, I guess my decision to switch to DirectTv has been made for me.

I have seen a scrawl across the bottom of screen on MTV a couple time regarding this, but now everytime it comes on, a black bar appears to cover it up.

I noticed when I called to order HBO today there was a prerecorded message about this issue. The message stated pretty much what was already in the press release, although the recording did also say that if you wanted to keep receiving these channels to please contact Don Carcini, the president and general manger of KCBS, at 323-460-3000. I didn't call the number but I can imagine his voice mail is pretty full.
