Folks,
There was some discussion in another thread about DD receivers, but this is a more basic question:
Is all DISH Network audio encoded as DD, or is it MPEG, with DD on a few "blockbusters"?
Or, in other words, if I do actually get a receiver with a DD output, will it work for all the shows, or just a few movies on HBO and the like?
Thanks!

Dish currently has the HD channels, a couple of premium movie channels and some of the PPD channels in DD...It is not dish but the content provider who determines whether a channel is DD..
