    Buffy - 6, 6, 7.5
    Enclave - 6, 6, 6
    Dead to Rights - 6.5, 5, 5

This is getting annoying as an X-box owner.

Wreckless, Raw, these, the chain keeps growing!

The Dead to Rights score is a bit unexpected as is the Buffy score. Buffy has been getting some solid previews and good word of mouth, as has DTR. I'll have to check them out for myself. (Though I'm not big on Buffy since I'm not a fan of the show:b) Enclave I pretty much expected from the Internet reviews but I'm still buying it dammit!
In the end Damien, rent them and play them. These are after all opinions and yours may differ greatly....taste is a funny thing[IMG]

Buffy I'm not surprised about (I have little faith in games based on TV/movies). Enclave started out with great potential, but the word over the past couple months has been increasingly negative, so no surprise there either. Now Dead to Rights is a bit disappointing. I expected better scores.

Is there some kind of list of scores that EGM has given to games? I hardly ever pay attention to them (mostly because I think EGM is a terrible magazine [IMG]) but it seems like every time I have stumbled across a score of a game I enjoyed it's been low. Except Halo, of course [IMG]

I miss Next-Gen quite a bit, but I still love EGM! I think it's a great magazine and I can't wait to get it every month.

I'm not a huge fan of EGM, but those scores are only slightly low. The better source is gamerankings.com. (They take tons of reviews from magazines and website and come up with an average.)

    Buffy - 65/100
    Enclave - 74/100
    Dead to Rights 60/100

You're getting your wires crossed, Morgan. This is some of what GameSpot had to say:

I thought GameSpot said at the end of their preview that only time would tell whether the gameplay would remain entertaining althroughout the game.

They did, Morgan, as I pretty blatantly quoted. "Time will tell if the combat remains entertaining throughout the entire game" is hardly the same as saying that "Buffy was boring and overly repetitive".

i agree gamespot was the main culprit in hyping some of these previously no-name x-box games like buffy. They ran a lot of front page previews and interviews. EGM can do it too with all platforms, stuntman is the last example.

Adam handled my rebuttal to your comments quite nicely Morgan so I won't bother answering to them (Thank you Adam[IMG]). IGN, Gamespot and several other internet sites have been quite favorable towards Buffy. (Of course I do remember seeing a very unfavorable internet review as well...

I don't understand why people are upset by low reviews. Isn't that a good thing? I don't know how many games I have purchased only to get them home and find out they are no good. I prefer a tough review because it saves me time and money.

I think they get upset, Andre, because they were looking forward to the game & are disappointed that it's being rated as a poor game - they wanted it to be good.
