Which satellite company is better for both hardware and programming? Would love to hear your opinions.

I have Dish Network. Their model 6000 HD receiver is of very high quality.
They recently added "Discovery HD Theater" to their lineup. It looks fantastic! [IMG]
I also get HBO HD and CBS HD.
DirecTv has HDNet, which I would love to have, but Dish doesn't carry it (yet).
Dish Network is in the process of merging (buying out) DirecTV, so, if approved, Dish will eventually get HD-Net.
I would go with Dish Network, especially since you might wind up with them after the merger anyway.
