Hi!
I've had DirecTv HD for almost 2 years now. For the extra $10/mo it cost me it is a great deal. I don't buy any of the movie channels - just stick to the base package offerings. Plus, when we moved I got the install/dish/HD box for free, I own the box but I think that you have to lease now.
The 1080i on my old Toshiba TW56x81 is stunning.
Customer Service has met our basic expectations. None of the hassles you get with cable.
