    Hi

I was just IMed by another Dish subscriber who heard...so I called, confirmed, and subscribed...

Dish now has a HD "package",

The cost is 109 annually, and if you already have the DiscoveryHD annual agreement, it is only an additional $11.02 annually.

Some of the new stations are:
    ESPNHD
    HDNET
    HDNET MOVIES
    others??

Ill have to find some time later on today to break away and do some surfing. [IMG] [IMG]

Almost everything looks great (I already had HD Discovery so this added 3 more channels for $14/year).

    HD Discovery only price: $95.99/year
    HD 4 pack: $109.99/year.

    A no-brainer.

    You get:
    • HD Discovery
    • HDNet
    • HDNetMovies
    • ESPN-HD
The only fly in the ointment is ESPN-HD. When they broadcast in HD it looks fine. When they don't, they've chosen to stretch the image because some people complained about the "black side bars."

    Sheesh!

I can correct for this by telling my FP that it's non-anamorphic, but ESPN should know better than to distort the non-HD images.

All in all two big [IMG] [IMG] to DISH with a small [IMG] for ESPN when not in HD.
