DISH 6000 w/8vsb....??????? (1 Viewer)

I was considering getting one of these setups in order to receive HD, along with my sat/locals.

Has anyone around here had any experience with this type of setup? (Good or Bad)

Would I be better off getting a different receiver?

I am mainly interested in getting the OTA HD stations.

Please someone help!......Confused......!!!!

The though of having the sat/HD/locals all handled by one unit is appealing (especially for simplicity of use for my wife and kids....)

DirecTV HD receivers all do this without the addition of an extra module. Also with Dish, you have to have two separate dishes so line of sight may be a problem. I had the HD 6000 for a while and it is a stable receiver. Not many features and a very plain interface.
