Hello all, I would like to install my own satellite dish with the triple lnb. Could anyone please tell me how hard is it to lock on to the satellites? If I lock on one will the others automatically lock on also. I've did the single lnb before, but the 3 lnb seems a litle different. Should I get it proffessionally installed? thanks.

First make sure your mast is EXACTLY plumb. A slightly crooked mast on a regular dish is easy to adjust for. A slightly crooked mast on a multi-sat dish will give you nothing but headaches. Second, use RCA's site for your dish settings. Set your skew/tilt and don't change it. Mount the dish and start with the elevation a few degrees higher than recommended. Slowly move the dish back and forth about 10 degrees on either side of the recommended azimuth. If you don't get a hit, drop the elevation a degree and repeat. I used this method both times I installed a mutli-sat dish and I had a signal within 10 minutes.
