DirecTV in Canada? (1 Viewer)

I am contemplating a job transfer that would move me to London, Ontario in Canada. Upon doing some basic research about how to move my DirecTV service I found out that DirecTV is not licensed to broadcast in Canada, so I will not be able to just "move" my service. Are there any Canadians out there in HTF who can tell me what my optiions are in Ontario? I am confused, because there are several internet web sites that offer DirecTV in Canada - are they doing this legally?

Legally, I think you have to get Star Choice or BEV in Canada. Yep, just like we have two DBS satellite services, they have two as well. If you want to go the illegal route, I'm sure there are some options depending on your geography. You'd need to keep a US address (or rent a mail drop), and forget about anything like PPV that uses the phone line.
