DirecTV DVR keeps messing up channels lists (1 Viewer)

I'm going insane. I picked up the DVR (RCA DVR80) last week, edited the "channels you receive" and the "favorite channels" lists, and several times now I find that the DVR keeps adding the same three channels back on the "channels you receive" list -- 170 (Here), 228 (GEMS), and 234 (CSHP). I've deleted these same three channels from my lineup at least five times now; within a few hours, it seems, they're back in the channel list.

If anyone can give me a hint as to how I can finally get rid of these channels from that list, I'd be most grateful.

I have read comments that say that this is because D*TV turns certain channels off periodically (normally shopping channels). When they go back on, the box sees them as new and adds them to your "recieve" list.

The work around is to use the Favorites list, which is unaffected.

I used that method with my pervious Sammy HD box, and now the new HDTivo.
