Now that I have the DST 3000 what are facts and/or rumors about increased HDTV channels on DirecTV?

Rumors:
DirecTV will add HDTV sports programming in conjunction with Mark Cuban owner of the Dallas Mavericks, and that the programming will include much more than just Mavs games.
Also that DirecTV will soon add Showtime HD.
Facts:
Most of the past rumors have never come true and I wouldn't believe anything until you actually see it on your set.
