Always meant to see Contact and never did. May see Polar Express. The inlaws took the kids and they loved it so we'll probably end up getting the DVD.

I'm about to go out of town until the weekend, so I'll probably fall behind on these again.

I've also seen Romancing the Stone and Death Becomes Her, but it's been a long time. I recently re-watched the entire BTTF trilogy and had forgotten how entertaining and refreshingly unpretentious these films were, especially the original. I plan on seeing Roger Rabbit again within the next week or two and I'm curious to see how it has held up for me after all these years.
Used Cars is one that I've been meaning to see, but have never gotten around to.

    Cast Away (2000) - B+
What Lies Beneath (2000) - B- - This is one of those "Bad Movies I Love", mostly because of Michelle Pfeiffer's performance. It's like everybody got to together and they all knew that they were making a silly horror movie with a lame ending, but nobody told her and she's giving this extraordinary performance in a movie that hardly deserves it, and she's the only one not in on the joke.

I think DEATH BECOMES HER is highly underrated, and features a very good and different type of Bruce Willis performance.

Steve, I had a lot of fun with What Lies Beneath. You, as a "Hitch" fan must of had some fun with the homage?

I admit there were some clever shots in the film and the bit in the bathtub would have got a thumbs up from the master, but is it better than a DeLorean Time Machine? Better than Jodie Foster saying "good to go" 433 times in Contact? [IMG]
There was a one fx shot I really liked in What Lies Beneath, the car driving across the bridge and the camera zooming in from long shot to close up, nice.

I just re-watched Who Framed Roger Rabbit and I've gotta say, it holds up very well for me. The film is 17 years old and no CGI was employed, yet the effects are wonderful. Bob Hoskins gives an engaging and believable performance, especially considering that he did most of his acting in front of a blue screen. It's hard to imagine that live action and animation could/can be combined more felicitously. Great fun.
