We can see where you ranked Stray Dog George, but what did you think of it? Judging by your statement that you only like 3 of the Kurosawa movies that you have seen, and Stray Dog isn't in the top 3, I will assume that you didn't care for it?

Interestingly, although I agree the ending was slightly "odd", I loved it (the ending). In fact, I thought it was the most powerful scene in the entire movie.

I haven't watched THE BAD SLEEP WELL in 12 years so that ranking is a bit shaky.

I'd love to watch the rest of Kurosawa's films, particularly SANSHIRO SUGATA (1943), NO REGRETS FOR OUR YOUTH (1948), THE IDIOT (1951; which I'll certainly be getting when it's released on R2 DVD), I LIVE IN FEAR (1955) and DODES'KA-DEN (1970).
