    Hey Folks-
Long time DVD guy, but totally new to Direct TV.
In a few months, I am going to want to add the
Direct TV to another television, and was told
it was really as easy as hooking up my DVD player
to my receiver...is this true? Can I hook up the
second connection from the input already in the house
or will I be climbing on my roof?
    Thanks for any advice,
    Mark

You'll have to have another decoder box, of course, and if you want to watch different channels on the two sets you'll have to have a dual LNB (2 outputs on the plastic gadget on the arm in front of the dish) and run a wire from the 2d output to the 2d receiver.

If you plan on watching both sets at the same time, also plan on the $5.00 additional charge for another receiver. That reminds me of the old cable billing before they passed the law that they could not charge for each connection on the same house! That's the one thing that kills me about having Direct TV! [IMG]
