I played the DEMO recently and I thought it was pretty good. It's scheduled to come out tomorrow.

    Any word on whether it's good or not? 16x9, 1080i, 720p, 480p, etc..?[IMG]

Gah, I simply could not get into the demo. Very high production values, but the gameplay seems... weak? I admit, I didn't give it much of a chance, but when I seemed to be blindly firing at things behind my field of view I got clammy.

    Unknown about the features.

I played the import, but had no idea what the hell I was supposed to do. Then I tried the U.S. demo, and had no idea what the hell I was supposed to do.

picked it up yesterday. played it last night.

my word is that it's a good survival/horror game, solidly within the four corners of the traidition, but with a number of innovative and compelling new twists.

    but, different strokes.....

Did they fix the camera issues? I played it at E3 and it was by far one of the worst games there just because half the time you couldn't even see yourself or the object you were supposed to interact with. The camera KILLED the game. Graphically it looked nice but not when you can't even see what you are supposed to be doing.

All the reviews use the phrase "worst camera ever" in one way or another. From all I've read, it sounds like it could have been an awesome game aside from the one glaring oversight that is the horrible camera. Sucks too, as Dino Crisis 2 was one of the better games for the PS1.

Tried the demo last night on the latest OXM game disc and agree with those above. The camera was giving me a lot of problems. Perspective was too far out at least in the section I was at (those dino-parasite-thingies). The extended CG sequence at the beginning didn't help either. Looked really good though.

it's a survival/horror game with a survival/horror camera, just like every other survival/horror game i have ever played.

i don't have any problem with the camera at all.

from what i'm seeing, though, me and this guy might be the only ones...

A friend of mine was the motion capture model for the main guy character.

I have nothing more to add.
