Picked up Fast Color in 4K on Vudu for $6.99. Meant to catch that one in theaters, but didn't get the chance.

Makes sense since it’s not a movie. ;)

With The Wrecking Crew showing up on iTunes for $4.99 I now have all four Matt Helm classics in HD for under $20. I use the term 'classics' advisedly; Silencers was a lot of fun and pretty good, the others not as much. But they're all the guiltiest of guilty pleasures.

    Superman is $5 on iTunes.

I’m guessing it still doesn’t have the original sound FX track but for $5 I bit.

More of a warning then a deal.
I just popped onto iTunes to go through the $5 offering and saw The Big Blue there.
It’s been there before but only the short version.
This time it had the long run time listed so I nabbed it.
Started to watched and it’s still the short one.
Three different sections of the description list the run time as 2:48 but the time is only 2:17

    so just a heads up.
I’ll be asking for a refund tomorrow.

    That's strange you're getting a different runtime than I am - everywhere I look I see 2:17...

Don't judge me, but one of my personal favorite movies (especially at Christmas), call it a guilty pleasure if you want, The Family Stone, is currently $4.99 in HD. It's only ever been available physically on DVD.

Yeah, but I simply can't express how much I love this movie. I watch it at least once a year.

It's highly misunderstood. The writing is deceptively complex and nuanced. People expect a hammer, and miss all the subtlety and self-criticism. So many little details to find, but one is when Kelly (Craig T Nelson) goes to apologize to Julie (Claire Danes) and adds in "...and I'd like to apologize to Meredith." The reaction by Julie is spectacular. In that moment, you simply know that nobody ever feels regret for treating Meredith badly, and I expect they do it a lot, because they tell themselves she deserves it. Let's face it, Meredith is a little annoying, but her insecurity makes her a fun target for a lot of people.

After thinking, I think I got the order of apologies backward, but the result is the same.

Anyway, not a lot of viewers look beyond the surface and expectations of this movie.

Costco has $100 iTunes gift cards for $79.49. Limit 2 per customer. Should come in handy for the onslaught of iTunes sales I’m expecting this holiday season...
