I would do that, except I have already bought the first two on 4K UHD disc for $15 each. I am just waiting for the 3rd one to go one sale.

    I have the first one.
$5 for the other two is hard to pass by.
My shelf space is almost non existent now

I’d rather pay $5 then even $10 if I can.
All the same stuff. No space in my house and a fraction of the price.

For those who want these to import into Movies Anywhere in 4K, be sure to purchase them separately (same price) as the bundle won't import as 4K.

Thank you for that reminder. Since, I already own the first movie on 4K/UHD disc getting the other two movies in 4K digital for $4.99 each is a bargain I couldn't pass up even though I didn't like either of them as much as the first film.

Similar to you, I have a dozen book cases with six shelves each that are becoming full so I've made a conscious effort to cut back on my disc purchases in favor of digital purchases. Particularly, those film titles that might be blind buys or films that I'm not in love with.

I thought this applies only to the digital code from the physical disc Matrix 4K trilogy.

Yeah. My wife hates all the space my Blu rays and 4K discs occupy.

If I had not recently bought the 2nd film for $15, I would probably do the same as you. Since I have 2 of the 3 on disc now, I may as well complete the trilogy in the same format. My shelf space is actually getting a little better, though, since I am selling the old discs whenever I buy a 4K streaming copy of a film I have on disc in an older format (BD or DVD) -- well, my wife has actually been the one doing the selling (I need to start paying her a commission ;)). My disc purchases have slowed down quite a bit, so I think I have more discs going out than coming in right now. Selling the Bond 50 package alone cleared quite a bit of shelf space.

Every 4K bundle I have purchased from iTunes has imported into Movies Anywhere as HD. Individual titles import as 4K just fine. It's one of the many glitches between iTunes and Movies Anywhere. I still buy bundles in order to get cheap 4K titles because iTunes is the only format I care about. But I know other people want 4K across all their retailers.

I see Vudu is selling the HD digital of "Heist" (2001) starring Gene Hackman for $4.99 I always like this movie that hasn't been released on Blu-ray in Region A.

I just bought one of my favorite films for more than I usually pay for a classic film on iTunes. My price point is usually $4.99 for catalog titles. However, iTunes just dropped the pricing for the HD digital of "The Bad and the Beautiful" from $14.99 to $9.99. I love this film and I bit on that that price drop. Watch Warner Archive release it on Blu-ray before the end of the year.

Apocalypse Now and Casino that I purchased for $4.99 each have upgraded to 4K on iTunes. I purchased Casino a couple of weeks ago hoping for this outcome while I purchased Apocalypse Now late last year.

Edit: It's the Apocalypse Now Redux version that has upgraded to 4K/DV/Atmos which runs 196 minutes. The version that runs 147 minutes is still HD. Also, Casino is 4K/HDR with no Atmos.
