    I’m looking at Ronin.
The pic is from the newer disc release from a year or so ago but how odes one know if the movie itself is the newer one and not the one on the really old Blu-ray set?
    It’s only $5 on iTunes.

I just realized I have a UV code in my TWOO 3D set.
Wonder if that will be 4K in iTunes.

The only way for it to turn into 4K in iTunes is if you redeem it directly in iTunes, and iTunes was never a part of UV...

As I suspected, the pricing on TWOO went up to $14.99.

That's unusual for a sale price to go up midweek...

I thought as soon as it got out about the 4K/Dolby Vision that there will be a run on the digital and that a price hike would follow very quickly. It's why I jumped on that $7.99 price.

So they bumped the price up to $14.99, yanked the 4K DV version, and now it's only streaming in HD. Brilliant.

Based on their history, I anticipated each of those actions which is why I bought it then watched the movie in its entirety and won't be asking for a refund. I expect to see it again on iTunes in 4K/Dolby Vision this October.

I am glad I followed your instincts and jumped at the $8 price. I am bummed to hear that it's back to being the HD version, though, as we didn't get a chance to watch the film yet. Now I have to wait for Apple to switch it back to 4K / Dolby Vision again, as I don't wan to watch the HD stream. :(

As in playable in 4K, not just saying it on the main screen?

It never stopped saying 4K on the main screen but only played in HD...

Yup, don't let that 4K designate fool you as I've seen that beforehand and it actually plays in HD.

On iTunes Paramount has a bunch of titles on sale for $4.99 each. I don't think it's a coincidence that quite a few of them are from the year 1969.
Also, brand new to iTunes is John Steinbeck's The Red Pony for $4.99. I find that I'm opting for a lot of $4.99 downloads over the old Olive Blu-ray releases that never go on sale!

Yeah, I almost jumped on that, but realized that I already own the Olive disc.
