I just bought "The Wizard of Oz" HD Digital for $7.99 and I'm watching it on my OLED in 4K/Dolby Vision. I don't know how long that will last, but it does confirm that this great film is coming out in 4K/Dolby Vision disc in the very near future.

I just checked and it’s just HD which was why I asked.

Before I gift myself, I checked iTunes, three different times this morning and each time it showed TWOO in just HD. After redeeming my gift on a hunch, the HD stream changed to 4K/Dolby Vision verified on my two LGOLEDs.

It wasn't much of a debate for me as it might not reach that price point for a while. I'm actually expecting a price bump very shortly.

This conversation has made me think that it might be a good idea to go through my iTunes movies and note any that I might still have in SD in case their HD version goes on sale. So many of my titles were obtained through Vudu D2D when they only had SD available...
