Digital coax (RCA) length, splicing issues

    I'm going to need quite a long coax cable to connect my HTPC to my reciever...really looking for something relatively cheap (

    what's the output from your pc coming from? does the manual for the card suggest anything or discuss limitations?

    It's going to be the onboard S/PDIF from my (MSI) motherboard... havent recieved it yet, though... I wouldn't trust the manual though... I don't know about you, but I've never recieved a single decent product manual in my life, much less one that wasnt covered in errors. [​IMG]

    www.bluejeanscable.com -- Looks like that's a good bet also-- Belden/Carnae based 75ohm digital coax for relatively cheap-- 50ft. is a bit too long, and Blue Jeans Cable has a similarly priced cable for the 30ft. length I would need...

    Thoughts?

    Nevermind-- ordered a 30 footer and a 15 ft. subwoofer cable from bluejeanscable -- I'll let you know how I like it. [​IMG]
