Goto 2:01:50 on disc 1 of PH. Is that who I think it is in the background?

Its not him. It is the guy who was the stand-in for Bruce Willis in Armageddon.

Really, I thought it had that digital insertion feel to it. If it was a stand-in then they fully recreated the bloody harm he recieved in Die Hard.

It IS Willis, digitally inserted from a scene in Die Hard.

Can we get someone to screen capture this, please? I saw the damn movie - borrowed from a friend - and I have no idea what everyone's talking about. Where's Bruce?

Upon further review, it is too close to call. Could go either way!

I brought this up when the movie opened and a few other members agree it was him. Is there a director's commentary on that scene in the dvd?

It sure looks like Willis, after a round with Hans Gruber of course.
    Here you go Dave:

Thanks Ash. This is the scene where the nurses realize that the girl they just pronounced dead is their friend, right?
It sure looks like "John McCain", but it looks like an outtake from a scene where he's fighting Karl, not Hans. [IMG]
I wonder why they did it, and what "rights/legal" issues were involved? Hmmm...

That's not Bruce Willis. The hair line is wrong and Bruce has a rounder, chubbier face.

I agree with what Roger said. I don't know about the hair line, but Bruce does indeed have a chubbier/rounder face.

This is really funny, because I read the thread the first time through and thought nothing of it ( I had not seen the film yet) then when I watched it I imagined I had seen Bruce as a sailor who leans into a cabin and attempts to rouse the troops. When I receive my copy for christmas (heh heh) I will give you a time reference...

Even though it's a good likeness, I too, Do NOT think it is Bruce. Face too skinny.

I saw this and commented when Morgan and I watched it the first time. I figured it was a favor for Bey. Robert Duvall did the same kinda thing in the remake of Invasion of The Bodysnatchers years ago.

I agree that today's Bruce Willis looks a bit different. But he looked like that back in the days in DH1... will have to check DH1 again.

To me, that's EXACTLY like BW looked in Die Hard.

My wife thought it was Bill Paxton (well, she said "the jerk older brother in Weird Science, but I knew who she meant).
