I went to Best Buy to look at the demo, and the player was locked up when I got there. I had to pull out the power cord to reset the machine (no BB employees around to assist). And then the wait to boot and spin up the disc for play was excrutiatingly slow. I have notebook computers that boot WinXP and open a useable web browser faster.
I just brought back my player with a Feb. 06 build date to Best Buy beacuse Jarhead was a locking nightmare. I got a new HD-A1 at Tweeter with a March build date and Jarhead played fine along with my 3 other HD titles.
