Differences between Monitor 5 and Monitor 7 (1 Viewer)

What are some disadvantages and advantages if any to either of these 2?

They come out to almost the same price. I figure that for the small amount of money you are better off with the 7's since they are larger, tower speakers

Any help is most appreciated

I went with 5's, but almost regret it for the fact that with the price of stands, I could have basically picked up the 7's.... As far as looks go, they are a bit easier to work with if that is important. As far as sound goes, they have better bass response, but I didn't demo them very much compared to the 5's.

If money is an issue, you can build the stands yourself and have a good sub, I'd go with the 5. If you have to buy the stands and or don't have a good sub go with the 7.
