Right now I have a Kenwood 208 DD receiver with 50Wx5. My front speakers are paradigm mini monitors. If I get a new receiver such as a Denon 1802 or 2802, will I see a big difference in stereo sound as well as HT?

    Thanks

I think you would, without question, hear a difference. I know I would. Certainly in HT, as the current Denons do a very good job at HT.

However, if you are focusing on stereo music, Marantz should be what you are auditioning. I have an SR6200 and 2ch music is incredible. I compared it to a 3802, and was more impressed by the 6200 for stereo music. HT was a toss-up with the edge going to the 3802, but I wanted that great sound for music (and the 6200 was less $$)
