Hi guys,

Amazon has two almost identical listings for the original 2 mini series on DVD.

here:

http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/sea...606060-0817155

what is the difference between item 2 and 3?

deep discount also lists 2 GI JOE-A REAL AMERICAN HERO DVDs but one with no pic.

what is this item:

http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/dvd.cfm?itemID=RHI970163

as opposed to this one:

http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/dvd.cfm?itemID=WEA001562

any help would be appreciated.

THANKS!

EDIT: Amazon link might not work.

looking for difference between this:
http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASI...606060-0817155

and this:
http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASI...606060-0817155

besides the price I mean!

IIRC, there's a limited version of the set that actually comes with a Snake Eyes action figure. That would be the one that is the higher price.

The Amazon listing also has the other difference: An interview with Marv Wolfman and an interview with Ron Friedman. So that's Snake Eyes with Timberwolf plus the 2 interviews. The actual content of the 2 mini-series is the same.

yeah I noticed the interviews but I thought I might have just been an accidental ommission. I guess maybe not. I assume the same with the Deep Discount items?

Yes, Rhino only released 2 versions of the mini-series set: The Special Edition and the Regular. IIRC the Special Edition is limited to 25,000 copies. More info about the Snake Eyes figure can be found here.

I think I remember my brother telling me about one of his friends that got the non-action figure version. His friend was very angry when he found out about the version with the figure. IIRC, the non-figure version does not have the interviews.
